About Us
H&H stands for Hadi & Hoti, the owl that leads. Now you know the mystery behind our name and logo.
Our social start-up was founded by refugee students who experienced barriers to education firsthand. Now we help others overcome these barriers. Our team consists of young professionals from diverse educational and ethnic backgrounds. Engineer, economist, political scientist, philosopher, you name it and we’ve got it!
We want people all over the world to be able to get education: from girls in Afghanistan to refugees in Europe. Many of these people want education but are held back by social and financial barriers. We see talent and potential all over the world, and sometimes a little spark is enough to make the change. We want to be that spark together with you. ✨

We cannot carry out our mission alone. We believe in the power of collaboration, because together we are all stronger. Our projects revolve around education because an investment in education offers the highest return. Education is the key to upward social mobility. Together with our partners, we make sure that young people in our target countries get the educational opportunities they deserve.

Responsible governance
We have a Management Board and a General Meeting that function on a voluntary basis. They don't get a dime.

We have an Advisory Board. This board consists of professionals who are active in different domains.

We are efficient, very efficient. Most of our overhead costs are sponsored. So more money can go to our projects.
Greater focus on and a better approach to the institutional causes of inequality in education.

About Krajon!
Afghanistan
The education system in Afghanistan has been devastated by multiple decades of war. For many of the children in Afghanistan, going to school is not possible – especially for girls – despite the efforts of the international community. An estimated 3.7 million children are out-of-school in Afghanistan and 60% of them are girls.
Community-Based Education
To ensure that every child realizes their right to education, Community Based Education (CBE) was established. CBE classes are not schools. They are classes established in community buildings or houses. CBE is a way to reach children who are unable to attend formal schools.
Krajon! & CBE
We are supporting CBE in Afghanistan for the second year now. Many CBE classes lack the basics such as electricity, heating, school supplies and more. Through project Krajon! we are raising the necessary funds and awareness to help out. And you too can be a part of our movement by simply buying a pencil or just sharing this page.

MaxiPAC
Many newcomers in Flanders would like to study and work. They often already have previously acquired competences and qualifications, but sometimes these are not recognized. MaxiPAC is changing this!
H&H Education is a partner in the MaxiPAC project. MaxiPAC is an AMIF project that promotes the recognition of previously acquired competences and qualifications of newcomers in Flemish higher education.
